Sorry Marci, I just saw this post!! Yes we are very excited!! We are going to do another sweat test because her Dr at TX Childrens believes that the sweat drop is because we went to a different CF accredited center to do the test. We went to Scott & White to get "real" #'s, if you remember TX Childrens could only tell me greater than 100. He is being very .....skeptical? maybe. He is upset with me for pushing to be on it, and then further upset with me because we went to a different clinic to get another sweat test, which I totally expected to still be over 100, I just wanted a real #. I cried all afternoon after she called and told me she was now 88! She is under the weather right now, and is on bactrum, so when we went for clinic to share these #'s with her dr she was coughing during PFT's and still blew a 1.46! He never came back in after her PFT's though. And it didn't help matters any that my sweet little baby blurted out very proudly that Mommy wanted to rub this in your face! She had no idea that what she had said was bad! I could have died!! Anyhow to make him happy we are going to do another sweat test on Dec 21st which is at her 6 month mark of being on it. I will be happy to do it because I am curious as to what it will be then too!! Regardless, I am a very HAPPY Mommy!!!!
Abby's second sweat test results are in .... 88!!!! These last 3 were over 100!! When she was 2 it was 109! I am so excited and beyond happy!!!! God is so good!!! Prayers were for sure answered today!! Party at the our house tonight!!!
