Accordant?

I have the Accordant "service" as well. Not only are the newsletters ridiculous, I also have a woman that calls me every 3 months to make sure I'm "taking care of myself" by asking a whole list of questions.I'd like to think they are just being nice, but my cynical side knows they are just calling to make sure I keep on top of my health so I'm not in the hospital and costing them money!!
I was on Blue Cross at one point through my husbands job. But I don't think I was on the Accordant. Or it hadn't started yet. But I just have to say. I hate (or really dislike witha passion) insurance companies. I mean we pay them tons of money a year and they fight us on paying for our things. I jsut want to smack them and say "its your job" I pay you to do this. I mean why do they make it their business to see if we are "taking care " of our selves. Of course we are maybe not the way they want but we do what we need to. Cost them money HA! I say we pay them so they should just do their job. I mean perfectly healthy people get really cheap insurance while those of us who need it can hardly get them to pay for anything at times. I understand taht healthy people get cheap insurance for a reason. My point is jsut that insurance companies are coorupt greedy industries who are basically ripping the poor and needy off. My personal opinion. Can you tell I have had trouble with insurance? lol....Sorry to go on a rant. I really couldn't help myself. I apologize again.
I am not on Blue cross, but I have tufts, and they have this annoying program also where this woman calls me all the time to ask me a million questions, it is absurd! She leaves messages on my cell phone and i never call her back, i cant even begin to think about how ridiculous it is that some woman from texas (not at all where i am from) should have any point in calling me up and asking me how i am breathing and what medicines i am taking. What the hell is the point!!! ahhh
