We are finally home after the tonsil, adenoid & polyp ordeal! The surgery went fine but last night was brutal since the doctor didn't want to continue pain medicine through the IV but wanted her to take Lortab by mouth. She was so sore that she couldn't or wouldn't swallow anything so she was in pain big part of the fisrt day, but we made it. We had been waivering on whether to have the polyps removed because Alexa had been breathing so well lately but the doctor found several large ones on each side and one had grown through one of her sinus openings. He washed out a lot of impacted gunk while he was in there and is testing to see which antibiotic will be the best to clean it up.

Any advive in how to make a better recovery for her.
