Allergies and the use of Zyrtec

My son is 17 months old and has CF. He recently was perscribed zyrtec for his allergies. I was wondering if anyone else was taking this for allergies? I can't tell yet if it is helping him, but I thought this was a strong medication for such a young child to be taking. I didn't know if anyone else has children who take this medication, and if they noticed thier child getting relief from this medication.

My daughter is 7 months old and they just prescribed her zyrtec. They dont know if she has allergies but they wanted to see if that helped her runny nose and cough. The only problem is, they prescribed her an antibiotic at the same time so I dont know if it is helping or not!!


I know this does not help much but I thought I would share my 2 cents..... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
