Allergies or something else??

Friday evening before bedtime I noticed I was short of breath (nothing major). Saturday afternoon we went for a very short walk and my breath seemed a bit heavy (I did run a few yards to catch up with my guys. Later on in the evening I was HORRIBLY short of breath of breath (my mouth was horribly dry as well). I checked my sugars... they were perfect.
This evening I had the shortness of breath again but it was not as bad as the night before.

Last night and tonight on top of the shortness of breath I temporarily loose a good portion of my voice. The voice loss feels like laryngitis. During the mornings and afternoons my lungs feel great-- very open and free.

The only lung med I am on is Hypertonic Saline (2x per day).

Everyone around me is miserable with allergies. Are the above symptoms allergies???
Or... does it sound like something else?? Asthma attacks???

I plan to email my nurse tomorrow but I though I would check with all of you.

This is how mine started. I had a sore throat for a week. Then I noticed for about 2 days I was really "asthma-ish". I upped treatments and everything. Then yesterday morning I woke up with a runny/stuff nose, an awful cough, eye pain/watery...over all just miserable. I am keeping a close eye on my mucus but right now its a bright yellow. (like sunshine yellow, not funky yellow). So I'm not too worried its a lung thing, but If I don't feel better in about 3 days, I'm gonna call the doctor.

Last night I started taking some nyquil sinus and it did WONDERS. Not 100% or anything BUT I do feel better. I am less congested, cough is less, and I can actually blow my nose today.
