I was told this weekend Aloe Vera capsules are good for the body (immune?? digestion??). I haven't sat down to research it for myself. Has anyone here taken it and gotten positive results?? How much do you take??

Plan to do my own research but would love your opinions/hear your experiences.

I tried it for my digestive issues (thought I'm PS) years before my CF diagnosis. It tastes *gross* in liquid form and makes you poop. If I remember correctly it has antibacterial properties and is supposed to soothe the digestive tract. I found it didn't help, upset my belly. I think it works better as a topical gel for sun burn, I have a small aloe plant that I take a leaf off of in the summer, refrigerate it and use as needed. For immune building I feel that taking ester vitamin C, plus cooking with garlic helps the most. I'm talking about for undiagnosed, untreated CF so there are likely milder things that can help that for me did nothing.
