Sadly, that was the day before we planned to take his respirator out, we spent the day together, just me him and the NICU nurse of course. I came home that night and cried so much I was literally ill. Then I downloaded that clip on my computer and watched it over and over, and suddenly realized how extremely strong he was and I just knew in my heart he was going to make it and he did. It's just my favorite now, I can just see something in his eyes, just a glimpse of the person he had been before this tragedy happened.

Jen, I'm still crying, still crying.... what a beautiful video. What a little fighter, really defeating all odds!!

Oh, you are all such compasionate people with big hearts.
Andrew is doing well. He came home from his fourth surgery on Saturday. He had a Nissen to stop the reflux. We are still having a lot of issues with trying to give him enzymes. They clog the feeding tube, and the powerdered ones just don't work good, they really seem to upset his stomach. I know they shouldn't but it seems they do.
He is gaining weight, he is at 14 lbs 2ozs which is pretty good, doctors keep saying he should be bigger, but he looks good.
He is a very sweet baby, never fusses unless he is hungry or dirty, he sleeps a lot, and loves swinging in his swing when he is up.
He has Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, my house is so crazy during the week, seems we always have some sorta therapist here.
