annoying tales from the hospital

Okay, need to vent and knew you folks are the only ones who'd get it. Feel free to share your own list!

1. The nurse continues to come in and say, "its time for her creon, do you want me to bring her something to eat with it?" How many times will I have to explain that the creon is so she can eat her food, not the other way around.

2. RT is totally off schedule. Our 1pm Albuterol/Vest happened at 3pm. Now at 4:30 the nurse comes in and says that we need to do albuterol again since she is due at 5pm. I told her no that she can't have the albuterol THAT close together. We'll do it and the vest after her dinner settles and then again before bed at 10ish -- she seemed really annoyed that I didn't want to do the albuterol. I can't imagine how jittery she'd be if we did another one already.

I'll add one more that I already put in my blog....

Why the heck do the night nurses have NO CLUE that these kids need to sleep?? What's with everyone coming in, upsetting my kid, leaving me to calm her down and as soon as she's asleep soemone else comes barging in and putting on the lights?????

Exclaims loudly "he can't eat without enzymes, why didn't you call me"

I give her a stupid "no sh**" look and point out that I gave him enzymes because he wanted a snack and she takes an hour to get meds!!

Makes you wonder what they think us parents do without them to hold our hands.
