Not to sound greedy, but...
I got married last year, can I deduct any of it? I know the church fee can be, but can anything else?

Thanks,

YOU sure are RUDE.
The church fee CAN (which I already took last year), so....I was just wondering.
It doesn't hurt to take whatever deductions are LEGAL, and that's all I'm asking.
Don't be so rude.

churches are non-profit, therefore any "donation" is deductible. Whether payment for the wedding, or weekly tithes etc. or anything you were to purchase for the church.....

There are some organizations you can donate your wedding dress to, and then take that as a deduction. The value of your dress has to usually be determined by a tax professional or someone knowledgeable, non family, or generally about 50% of what you paid for your dress.
