Shamrock,
Redwall is a "fantasy" series about an abbey of mice and other small creatures, such as hares, hedgehogs, otters, and squirrels. It's kind of hard to explain in a short post, but basically, it's usually about a warrior(who is usually a mouse) who wields the sword of Martin the Warrior(the first Redwall Abbey Warrior) against the bad guys, who are: ferrets, stoats, rats, weasels, foxes, and one or two pine martens. There is also the theme of the Badger Lords, who rule a volcano/mountain called Salamandastron, and they fight the vermin too. It's a BIG series, as a matter of fact, this September the author(Brian Jacques) will be coming out with his eighteenth!
Hope I helped

OOHHH. I thought it was a basketball or american football team!lol My bad! I've never heard of this before. I thought it was some sort of cartoon when you were describing it, and i thought it sounded really funny, but i realise its a book. Interesting..thanx for the info!

lol no, it's nothing like that. That's okay though. If you like anything like LOTR(Lord of the Rings) you should read Redwall. While it doesn't really have any mythical creatures, and is not techniquely "fantasy", it's still similar in some ways.
