Anyone do to the CF Center at UNC and or Duke in North Carolina

HI! Does anyone go to those centers? What is your experience there? What is the TRIANGLE area in NC like? Weather? Things to do? Can you handle the humidity? How bad is it and how long does it last? Does it snow and how cold does it really get?

ANY and ALL information would be AWESOME!!! We are relocating and NC is one of our choices.

My daughter went to duke in durham for 22 years. It is awesome!!!!! Many hospital stays and I would not have wanted to be anywhere else. Very good climate. Warm most of the time. Not much snow. Couple times of year maybe. It is a beautiful area! Hope this helps.

My last docs apt was soppose to be last thursday, but I changed it to June because of my school hours. I hope you have fun here and get nice docs. Hi, it's been a long time since we were in NC but Duke is where we went when my oldest was diagnosed. They were great, wonderful, fantastic people. We lived about an hour away from Raleigh. During a really rough time in our lives, just being diagnosed and a baby due any day, we were really glad to be at Duke.
