i'm traveling out of the country on saturday and i'm wondering if anyone could give me a heads up on what to expect? i will of course be taking all of my meds in my carry on. do i have to put all that crap in a 8 by 7 inch ziplock bag? and will i have to remove it during the security check? seems a little embarrassing. also, has anyone had a hard time? i am getting a note from my doctor listing all of my current meds; i hope this helps any quesitons they might have.

I've traveled recently (in the country) with a carry on only - the one bag of liquids most people are allowed is stuff in 3oz or smaller containers but in one quart size ziploc. I also put my meds (and their are two plastic bags, a little bigger than quart size) in separate bags along with the prescriptions.
I've even included non prescription items like nose spray in the "med bags" and they haven't been confiscated. Just tell the inspectors ahead of time what you are carrying. Hope you have a good trip, Laura.
