So i've always had issues with digestion, and i recently read somewhere that enzymes tend to leave the stomach with the liquid part of the meal. Well, that doesn't leave much for the stuff left over...so i was thinking, since they have good proton pump inhibitors now, i wonder if taking enzymes that start digesting in the stomach and in the intestine would increase absorption. I know the reason they use enteric coated enzymes is because the acid breaks down the enzymes, but i wonder how acidic our stomach is with the antacids we use these days.
Anyways, i was wondering if anyone has tried non enteric coated enzymes and if they have worked. Also, what are some of the brands out there.
Thanks
Kiel
