We are going to the Indy 500 parade tomorrow with a forcasted high of 85 degrees and then having a race day party on sunday with a high of 88 degrees just wondering if there is anything i should be doing to keep him hydrated???

Gatorade. Our Drs recommend it in the summer, since CFers tend to get dehydrated quickly. This also replaces electrolytes.
Have fun!

I'm not sure about gatorade for one that little but pedialyte is pretty much like gatorade, but for little ones. I think the sugar and sodium content is a lot less. Probably the only difference. But water and either the gatorade or pedialyte (maybe compare them at the store???)

IF you have an ice cooler you can take Pedia Pops- which are frozen sticks of flavored Pedialyte. Messy, but definitely fun and refreshing!

Also, keep him out of the sun, with some shade, like an umbrella or have him wear a floppy hat to keep sun off their face. i know my daughter gets a sunburn easily if i don't keep her shaded and sunscreen on.

I was going to respond, but see that you should actually be there already if you went. Let us know how things went!
