People w/ Cf are told to eat high fat/calorie/salty diets however

much but my question is
I was told by my Doctor that it
is very rare for a cfer to have problems with cholestrol because we
flush enough of the bad stuff out of the food we eat
naturally. But that was when I was younger so not sure if it has
changed. I am curious to know too.

I was also told we generally dont get cholesterol issues. I dont know if that is because most people with cf didnt live long enough to have that problem yet, or if it is fact that we really dont get these issues. Whenever i have my blood checked my cholesterol is always in the 120 range which is great , despite the fact that i eat a LOT of fatty foods. But it doesnt mean it isnt impossible for someone with cf to have cholesterol issues.

I've heard the same thing. It's rare for CFers to have heart disease, except of course, pulmonary edema...but that's typically at the end stages of the disease.
