Bacteria

Lexi has just gotten out of the hospital. She is still on home IV antibiotics. Her bronch cultures showed Staph, Pseudomonas, and Aspergillus. If we get rid of these, what are your suggestions on how to prevent reoccurance. Where are these bacteria located anyway?

I'm not saying this to discourage you but rather so that you don't feel like it is your fault or your child not complying: but those germs are everywhere: on our skin, in our nose, in the water, in the soil. Washing hands and keeping fingers out of the nose/eyes/mouth is the top priority thing around our house (my CFer is 6) but the bugs still crop up once in a while.

I agree with Folione.

Even the best compliance & cleanliness doesnt guarantee anything. These bugs like our lungs. They are like magnets!

Do you best & dont beat yourself up if sometimes your best doesnt always work!!
