Just wanted to say, my daughter Emily had one of her best appointments on Monday!
Her PFT's were higher and better than they have ever been! Her doctor was super impressed with how she looks, but did give me a little bit of a hard time because she lost a couple of ounces since her last appointment 3 months ago - she did grow a few inches, though. When the doctor started talking about her weight, I reminded her that Emily had been doubling up on sports for the last 3 months. She plays lacrosse (and usually plays the whole game without being subbed out - and lacrosse consists of RUNNING!), and her basketball season happened to be during the same time - and her coach would make those girls run suicides after every practice. Did I mention that I brought proof? I had brought quite a few pictures for everyone to see! It was so funny, Emily told the guy who did her weight about her secret weapon........her farts! She told him that, especially in basketball, if someone was guarding her too close, she would let one rip when she had the ball! I'm sure we all are thankful that we aren't guarding her!
