Best Companies to Work for?

Hello, I have a question and I'd love to get as many responses as possible on this one. Fyi, I posted this on the adult board too.

Here's the deal, my husband is looking for a new job and my hopes would be for him to find the perfect job PLUS have it offer great insurance coverage. This goal of mine just came up in conversation with him tonight, I thought I had told him this before but apparently not. Woops. So now this dynamic changes *everything* when it comes to him looking for jobs. Now we can actually look anywhere in the country if we just shop by companies with great coverage (mixed with the best CF centers), versus having to stay in CA for my current GHPP state coverage.

1.
So what I'm looking for is a LIST of companies that you guys work for who have great coverage (meaning $400/month or less with no deductible, or anything better than that), and where is the company located? I'm not asking for insurance carriers, but the actual companies you know that offer good coverage. My husband is a manager of "customer intelligence" in the real estate industry right now so he would be looking for another manager's position or a director's title. This is why I'm asking all of you, b/c his role isn't necessarily company specific, since everyone needs managers and directors.

He used to work for ibm and other software companies in the past, so the range is a bit open.

We want to start job searching the companies you guys list since those will be the ones you know to have good insurance. Otherwise, how do you go after a job for it's insurance coverage? Any ideas on that are welcome too.

2.
Is there a list that defines where the best accredited CF centers are in the US?
That will be our other criteria for job hunting. I know there are some good ones on the East coast, right? We're totally open.

Thanks everyone ahead of time. I really hope people feel comfortable giving out a company name that is really good to work for. If not, PLEASE message me if you would, or email me: kmlangs@yahoo.com

He has an interview Monday with someone in SoCal but we have no idea of their insurance benefits.

1. I don't think it's so much the company or the insurance company as it is size. Most really big companies self-insure as part of an ERISA plan and just hire an insurance company to manage the money. They make actually change insuranc companies from year to year.

Friends tell me that working for the feds is what really gets you the best insurance.

You can only find out about a company's insurance after they make you an offer. Then you can ask more questions since you say that you'll be deciding based on the value of the entire package - including health insurance. But even then you don't want to mention the illness outloud or you might screw the deal.
