I just got a hold of Rami and he is ok. The bomb went off 1km away (1.2 miles) from his house. Thinks it is in retaliation for the camp in tripoli, but a lot of groups are claiming credit. People were injured, but noone was killed, the bus that blew up was empty, thank God! Thanks for bringing this to my attention--I still haven't seen it on tv.

one km, that sounds so close.. good to hear he is ok.
i read about the bus being empty, thankfully. and that luckily no-one was killed. It happened yesterdayevening our time, so that would be somewhere afternoonin the US.
