Bought my bro a really nice tv.........................but..............................

Bought my bro a really nice tv.........................but..............................

he now is telling me that it is gonna cost him $200.00 to have the
cable guys run a line in his room (He rents a room from a guy),
 and whole reason i bought him it was because he said go ahead
everything is fine.... Now he is telling me he doesn't FEEL like
paying $200.00....., when I just spent nearly $1,000, on  his
tv... so if he doesn't pay that the tv is just gonna SIT in his
room... he doesnt understand the b.s that i went  thru to get
that t.v for him.. I ordered it thru circuit city, and that was a
fiasco let me tell you, never again will i order from them but that
is a different story.... anyways he is acting like he doesn't even
care, he is not even trying to call the the cable company or
anything.... I ordered this for him because he doesn't have any
friends really, and his health is declining. he is 24 with c/f...
anyways i feel really angry because he just doesnt care about
anything especially me, himself, or anything and  it makes me
sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!any ideas you

First you need to breath in then breath out. I feel like I came half way thru a story. You bough a very exspensive tv thinking all was set & waiting for the arrival of the tv, but in all actuality the cable isnt even there. IMHO if he wont take the initiative to get the cable I would take that damn television back & either sell it or use it for myself! CF or no CF to ME it sounds selfish!

Was the TV your idea, or his? I only ask because I know I wouldn't be all that thrilled about recieving a TV, either. I would at least try to act appreciative, but in truth a TV wouldn't make me all that happy. Of course if he didn't want it he shouldn't have told you to it was okay to get it, but if you were bugging him about giving him a TV because he doesn't have any friends, he might have said okay just so you would stop worrying about him. That's just a guess.

The tv was his idea, and yes i spent almost 1000 bucks, he is worth
it, besides it's just another credit card payment, who
cares.......i am going to drive up there in two weeks and not tell
him i am coming just surprise him, i cant wait to see the look on
his face when he sees me pulling up, i havent seen him in over
three years and at that point if he still doesnt have cable, i am
gonna unplug it, and throw it in my car and se la vie!!!!!!!!!!!!
