Bowel Movement Issues

OK, so I am wondering if anyone else on here has had issues with vaginal bleeding or clots after/with a bowel movment.
Once I just had light pink spotting , and I had some cramping ( I think the cramping was just the normal stretching and stuff of the uterus) and they made me come in for an ultrasound to check everything...and they found no source of bleeding, the baby is right on track. (Im nine weeks and 3 days)
Now I just had an issue where I had a bowel movement and passed three pea sized blood clots (dark in color , im saying that because the nurse said that did matter).
I dont have bleeding between bowel movments, I personally dont feel like im straining. I know I am constipated and after the first time I started taking Mirlax and I havent seen the benefits of it yet, so I will probably resort to taking it everyday to try and prevent this issue.
The nurse said its probably nothing since the clots are dark and I dont have bright red bleeding with it, but I am just curious if anyone else with CF has dealt with this. I really feel it has to do with the bulky stools because in my opnion I am not straining ( I tried to explain this to a nurse about the CF stools and that my opinion of straining is probably different than theirs).
Sorry if this is TMI for some people but I just felt most CFers are used to graphic issues and that I have nothing to loose with asking.

Hello. I am not sure about the bleeding, but I remember that I got pretty constipated in the 1st trimester of my pregnancy. I would definitely encourage you to take the miralax everyday and make sure to drink plenty of water. I wish I had more advice about the bleeding. I would just keep close track of it and call the doctor if it increases or continues much longer. I hope everything goes well!

It may be due to pressure on your cervix. By the time your doctor sees it, your cervical bleeding could be long over.

Its not hemmoroids... yet.. im sure I wont be able to dodge those as much as Id like to.

Im hoping I just have a very sensitive cervix, with all of the coughing I was told that it could bother the cervix and even shorten it towards the end of pregnancy and put me at risk for delivering early. So im sure with pressure from coughing and then pressure from another angle is what is bothering it.

Thanks everyone for your replys

Maybe you're dislodging a bloody mucous plug from your cervix? I've had those a few times when I havent been pregnant. Any correlation with recent sexual activity?
