Bribery... Sigh

With his oral meds, Max has absolutely decided that he hates the white one -- cipro, which he's on for one more week. I think he just dislikes the fact that it's not pink like all his other meds...

I'd been able to sneak it in with all the others. But lately he's giving us trouble.
Got tired of chasing him around with the oral syringe, arguing, coaxing him... So last night I said, I'll give you a quarter. Opens his mouth up wide and takes his meds with no problem. Wow, that was EASY. Until later in the evening, he finishes his vest and says "Give me a dollah" What? I need a "dollah", I did my vest? Ugh, I'm being blackmailed by a 4-year-old.

Since his main issue is with the color, I'd thought about adding a drop of red food coloring, so it was pink like everything else. Maybe I should just add it to his syringe of ketchup. Better yet, REFUSE to buy him any ketchup if he doesn't take his cipro.
