Had to let you know...today is my daughter Sarah's 35th birthday and she'll be running the marathon with the Boomer Esiason Foundation in NYC in November.
I thought it was a good idea to have shirts made with the appropriate images...on them for a birthday surprise for her at the family dinner last Sunday.
Mary Helen (her sister) and I designed the shirts front and back..16 shirts...they arrived last Thursday minus all the back designs..I called them immediately...so sad yada yada...do you know they redid the order, overnighted it and I had it by Saturday!

Ohhh do we get to see pictures of the shirts???????

I had no idea what Cafe press was either until Allie started making the Ry shirts. We are going to order some next year for our CF walk, something cute like "I have to go beat my husband/son... now" that only a CF community would understand. We also want to get little ones for our kids, "I have to go beat my daddy now" if they make them.

Oh what fun, it's like 10 months away and I'm already planning for it!!!!

I was wondering the same thing Risa, who's who....

I did notice right off that there are 3 babies that look around the same age... don't you love how life sometimes shows you glimpses of things to come?

This is the family...clockwise....daughter Annie 12:00 son Andrew (adopted from Korea)and his girlfriend, Jeanne, Sarah's husband, Alex(Sarah's son), daughter Sarah and crying baby Stephen, (6:00) daughter Mary Helen and baby Jack, Evan (Sarah's second son), granddaughter Julia with her dad (Mary Helen's husband) Peter (my hubbie).
Shirt front...nyc marathon...Run Mommy Run, Run Auntie Run, Run Gal Run, Run Sarah Run...back Team Boomer and Medrise Logo.
The party was great...the shirts made us smile...we're getting ready to cheer Sarah on!

Thanks, Mom for sharing that Beautiful picture with the CF Community! Hey guys, we tried hard to hold still for that shot - not easy with the kiddies! Thanks for the well wishes - I know that you all have beautiful families too and it is just fun to have birthdays to celebrate. I always ask mom what the good ages are and you know? She tells me they're all good ages! 35 is a good age and we're always celebrating life! Thank God for another year and I look forward to more memories!
