Well I was just wondering if people who carry the CF gene could possibly get some of the traits associated with CF...well I know probably not but I was just noticing that everyone says my mom looks really young, and my dad gets a lot of colds...I know, it's probably impossible to show CF traits without CF...but hey, it could happen, they at least have one CF gene, right?...Just wondering if anyone else noticed some small CF traits about carriers or am I just noticing little random traits and connecting them with CF...lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

There have been a few discussions about this in the past. Male carriers can be infertile because of the CF gene; I'm not sure if any other symptoms are possible.

i definitely think that carriers have symptoms. my mom gets really really bad colds, my dad hawks loogies like nobody's business, and my brother (not sure if he's a carrier or not) gets coughs too. sometimes i think that the rest of my family should get their PFTs taken...it might shed light on the degrees of CF in carriers!
