CF and Androgen Levels

I'm wondering if any CF male patients have had erratic androgen
levels -- low testosterone. My CF doctor said that it is a distinct
possibility although I'm not sure of any direct studies on this
issue. The term is call hypogonadism and is listed in Bone Mass
Density studies as a culprit. It seems to make since.<br>

My husband had that and used the patch to compensate. He and his doc always blamed it on the amount of prednisone and salumedrol he had been on durin his lifetime....
but it could have been the underlying disease process instead.
