CF Colors

I was told that CF's color was royal blue. Thats the color of the wrist band I have. But, I also see alot of stuff thats purple. What color represents Cystic Fibrosis??

I read somewhere last year that purple represents lung diseases so that is what I thought it was then I saw blue on CFF site so I don't know for sure. I wish I could find that site again to see what blue represents.

I just googled -awareness colors and meanings- and everywhere I see purple as CF. I don't know where blue came into the picture. Of course purple also stands for a lot of other things too.

Just go with blue and purple. They both already cover other awareness things...there arent enough colors out there for everything to have its own. Just wear what band you want either color still gets questions.

I know that Royal Blue is the color in Canada. I have never heard of purple.

I think the CF Foundation goes for blue and the Milan Foundation is purple.
