CF Patient Assistance Foundation

I just got off the phone with a woman who works for the CF Patient assistance foundation (CFPAS) and got a little info about what they are about/what they do.

I thought this might be useful to many CFers, I've personally never heard of them before.

They provide assistance with tobi and pulmozyme and they also provide assistance in applying for/navigating through the medicaid application process.

Their website is www.cfpaf.org and their phone is 1888-315-4154

Yes I remember when it was announced. It's a big dealio in the cf community bc it is the first time the cff is giving money to individuals. Now if you want your money to go ONLY TO RESEARCH like it always has in the past you have to specify this when making a donation. I read a release a couple months back that the first person was officially signed up and was surprised it took so long LOL. Wasn't this started in 2008? Personally I think the arguement that the CFF only gives to research is stronger. Did you notice in the Great Strides form letter they can't claim this anymore?
