I use the cf pharmacy exclusivly now because most insurance's won't cover xoponex from a regular pharmacy but for some reason the cf pharmacy can get all my meds charge me nothing and ship them to me over night every time...the only thing that I go to rite aid is for my pain medicine...fentanyl and flexirol, and even valium...everything else, tobi, xoponex, xoponex inhaler, and even pulmozyme are shipped overnight and then they bill my insurance and never charge me...you have to talk to them if there is something that they have to charge you for they charge you or tell you ahead so you can see if u can get something that won't charge u...like a possible genaric medicine

I use the cf pharmacy out of San Antonio, Texas. I love it b/c I dont have to get out in the cold or heat and get my meds. The local pharmacy here that I was using didn't have a clue about putting the most expensive ones on my medicaid card letting me pay for the cheap ones. The only thing I have to pay for is the hyper tonic saline. Medicaid wont pay for it.

I use my husbands RX mail order plan since that is my primary insurance. Otherwise, if I go retail I use Foundation Care since they have all kinds of CF drugs and promotions to get FREE stuff if you get the drugs from them. Currently I just got TOBI from them and Jan 1 I am getting Colistin.
