HI its me again betty. Im currently im my 13th week! YAY out of my first trimester. that was scary part for me. i had two very close calls with loosing our baby but we pulled through.
here are a couple of questions i have for some of you cf mommies ^_^
1.) what were some of the crazy cravings you experianced with your pregnancy?

2.) when did you feel your baby move?

3.) How was your pregnancy, hard or fine.

4.) did you have troubles with breathing and did you get put on bed rest.

5.) did your scars from your tubes or any other surgery crack and bleed, if so how do i prevent that.

6.) do you know of any places to get help with getting baby items.

well i cant think of any other questions right now.

Were diong ok. my husband has a friend in with us now who works, i just got hired as a telemarketer to try to make some ends meat and my husband got hired up at walmart. things are slowly going up. i just hope nothing else is will go wrong. we still hvnt been able to pay our rent or bills. im suprised we still have a phone and electric. i just got out of the hospital again too ac ouple days ago.

Nothing crazy, but I wanted sugar a lot - soda and candy (gummy bears!)

2.) when did you feel your baby move? !st baby - 17 weeks (flutter) 2nd baby - 16 weeks, stronger than a flutter, but still faint

3.) How was your pregnancy, hard or fine.
well prgnancy is hard, no doubt - I would say both my pregnancies were fine, but my second one was 'harder' than my first - more aches and stuff - plus I had a job and a family to care for, which I did not have wiht my first

4.) did you have troubles with breathing and did you get put on bed rest.
no trouble breathing - this pregnancy my cough worsned at the end, probably due to pressure on my chest, but I felt like I could breathe fine. I was told to quit working at 32 weeks, not nec. bedrest, but that was un-Cf related, I had preterm contractions with a history of having a preemie

5.) did your scars from your tubes or any other surgery crack and bleed, if so how do i prevent that.
I don't have any

6.) do you know of any places to get help with getting baby items.
no, but if your state has WIC you could start there, We have a BABE store associated with WIC where you can earn coupons and "buy" things.

I didn't really have any. The smell of popcorn cooking made me want to hurl though<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

It's too long ago to remember, I do remember that it was the normal time that you're supposed to feel the baby move though.

3.) How was your pregnancy, hard or fine.
It went fine. As Christian is experiencing, I too had a lot of constipation (TMI?) lol

4.) did you have troubles with breathing and did you get put on bed rest.
Breathing was OK. When the baby turned & was kicking me up under the ribs it would sometimes take my breath away. I had bed rest the last couple of weeks due to premature contractions.

5.) did your scars from your tubes or any other surgery crack and bleed, if so how do i prevent that.
No scars

6.) do you know of any places to get help with getting baby items.
WIC programs, pregnancy crisis centers may have baby items, Good Will type stores wouldn't have free stuff, but would have deeply discounted stuff.

2.) when did you feel your baby move?

This is funny. From day 1 all the girls I worked with asked me if I felt the baby move. I told them I didnt know. They told me it would be like a flutter. LOL....well when you are a CFer you have flutters all the time, its called gas. It took a bit, but I finally was able to feel the baby move. She didnt big turns in all directions when I drank my one cup of coffee at work. It would require me to sit back from my desk because her LONG legs (which she has this day) would push me so hard.

3.) How was your pregnancy, hard or fine.

My pregnancy was fabulous. I did develop gestational diabetes which I had to control with insulin. I also started hemoptysis in my 8th month. I was surprised that took so long. I worked up until I went into the hospital for my hemoptysis & delivery.

4.) did you have troubles with breathing and did you get put on bed rest.

I had no problems breathing. The Friday before I went into the hospital they had my baby shower. That night I was very uncomfortable. The feeling you get when you eat too much.

5.) did your scars from your tubes or any other surgery crack and bleed, if so how do i prevent that.

Only scar I have is from the c section, but its so low & they were curtious of my looks. You cant see it unless you look & if you are looking there you better be me or my husband LOL 

6.) do you know of any places to get help with getting baby items.

What do you mean by baby items? We got our crib from a co worker for $20. The rest of baby equipment I got at my shower. I bought my formula, diapers etc at our local Walmart & Shoprite. I also have a Childrens Exchange for everything from clothing etc. I found out quick that as infants you only want a few real outfits for special occaisions. The rest you want onsies or sleepers.
