cf related liver disease

i was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver when i was 14 (about 6 years ago) and apparently it's caused by my cf. i have been on the liver transplant list for a while, but i'm stable for now. i was wondering if anyone else on here has it because i know it's kinda rare.

My husband does. Apparently about 20% of CF patients have the liver complications. What clinic do you go to? When my husband was younger (around 15) they wanted to do a transplant and he decided not to. Now at our currently clinic he is not even on the list. We talked to the liver doctor here and she told us that different clinics have different philosophies about liver transplants. My son has CFRLD. He was diagnosed about 6 months ago by his GI doc during a series of test for issues non related. He takes medication for his liver disease, but other than that they just keep a close eye on him.....reordering test frequently and such.
