CF Vitamins

Emily has decided that it is just not "exciting" or "fair" to have to take vitamins that don't come in fun shapes like her sister's vitamins. She asked me to help her write a letter to the "doctors who make the vitamins" and ask them to remedy this.

So, we will sending a letter to Vitamax (CF Services) and Source CF. I fully expect that we will get no response, but she will not let it rest until a letter in on the way! I figure this is as good a way as any to teach her to advocate for herself!

I just thought some of you might get a smile out of it. We'll certainly let you know if we hear from one of the companies!

You know, growing up I always wanted those damn flinstone gummy ones... how unfair!

You mean the creepy monkey etched on the Source CF tablet isn't adequate? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> DS has noticed the gummi vitamins at the store, but he's a gummi candy NUT.

This definitely made me smile!!! Since Alyssa is pancreatic sufficient, her vitamin levels are always normal. When we ran out of vitamax, I just bought flintstones. It was probably a huge mistake, she'll never take the vitamax again. Have you tried them? they crumble in your mouth and they are HUGE!!!! I can't remember WHY I tried them -- but I did.

Maybe I'll see if Alyssa thinks we should write a letter too. If enough of us complain.... nah, never mind, the chances are pretty slim that they'll change the shape.

Ashlee always complains too! She wants fun vitamins as well! She just recently started taking the Source CF vitamins. She wants ones like her friends take. That is funny <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">) Good luck! Maybe we will try to write one too! hehe
