I have read a lot of posts on this site that have had relationship issues. I wanted to give a little inspirational story.
When I was 18 I married a girl for all the wrong reasons, the best reason I can think of was I was stupid. For years I had a steady helping of her continually reminding me I was going to die and going to leave her alone. She always told me how she didn't know what CF was and how unfair that was to her. Long story short 6 years later I was happily divorced.
After my divorce I got a new love interest. My best friend who was a nurse I worked with and knew everything about me. She accepted my disease and actually not only takes care of me she makes me take care of myself. She is my reason for living. I still don't know why God choose me to have CF, but I know that God gave her to me to help me live with it. If you are interested I have attached the web site for our wedding pic's.
