CFF Clinic in Bismarck, ND

We may be moving near Bismarck ND ~ I have looked on the CFF website and they have a "Care Center" listed at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck. I have two questions:

1) Is anyone familiar with the clinic ~ good/bad?

2) What is the difference between a Care Center and a Chapter? They make the distinction on the CFF website.

Ok, three questions :)

3) They also list St. Paul MN as a "Chapter" for the ND area ~ would they be better to go to?

The Chapter is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapter for MN, ND and SD -- fundraising events for the CFF. The Bismarck, U of MN and Minneapolis Childrens Hospital all are accreditted CF Clinics. Maybe SKH can answer your questions on the Bismarck facility, although I think her daughter goes to U of MN. I would NOT recommend the non-accreditted clinic in the Fargo area, though and I think they have satellite clinics that go to Biz, GFK and Minot.

Bismarck is about 3 hours from Fargo and the Minneapolis is another 3 1/2 hour drive to Minneapolis, although I think there are direct flights from Biz via NWA... Liza

My sister and both of my cousins go to the clinic in Bismarck. I will ask my mom to come on and add her opinion. I know that they take my sister to MN for a yearly check up and they are much more aggressive than the doctors here in Bismarck. My Aunt takes her kids strictly to bismarck. She has always loved the care they recieved. Any questions ask away. And my mom is SKH if you want to privite message her.
