I really dont think so but I could be wrong I just got related diabetes and I am 23 years old. I think it is pretty common for us CFers to get it they kinda go hand and hand I think the way everybody tells me. I know to most people it sounds really scary but if u kick it in the butt early it is no big deal but I think the key is to catch it before it gets out of control.

I don't really think theres anything you can do to prevent it. I had a spell of it there a while ago but luckily it was just due to the meds I was on making my blood sugar levels high. Talk to your dietician, she might have some tips for you!

I have CFRD, it was hard at first but then it got better. Because we have e cf we don't have to worry about not eating so, I love that part of it! It works of for me, I learned to live with it!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
