My son has a Pari Vortex that I boil. I asked Pari on this forum if I could, it didn't say in instructions or at their website. They replied I could. I also have a couple disposable ones from the hospital stay last month. I also boil these. I boil all parts for 10 min. I boil masks for 5 min. and really watch them, I'm afraid they'll melt. I melted a neb mask before, but the inhaler masks are thicker and haven't melted or warped.

My son uses an aerochamber - not sure if that's the brand name or what; there's a little bear on it. Anyway, I melted one of them merely by trying to rinse it with boiling water. Now I just wash and dry it.

My son's CF doctor recently told me that when rinsing it to use water to which a drop of detergent is added; she said a study of these chambers found that the a huge percentage of the medicine gets stuck to the chamber and the detergent does something to the plastic that improves medicine delivery; makes it slick I guess.
