Cheyenne is being admitted

I have to run now but she is being admitted for IV antibiotics...she is not any better and has been on orals for 13 days...running a fever again and cant stop coughing...being nebbed every 2.5 hours...Prelone for 13 days also.

Hi Debbie - I'm really sorry, especially here at the holidays. I know this is scary but have faith and be strong - it will be okay. I haven't had this experience yet either, so I know exactly how you must be feeling. But just think, this will probably make Cheyenne get better so fast! I'll be sending you hugs and wishing for the very best.

Hi Debbie- my daughter was admitted at 6 months for PA. I cried the entire day before and the day we got there. She ended up staying a week and it really wasn't that bad. Our children's hospital had a bed in the room for me, and we just brought in tons of toys and movies and basically made ourselves at home. The best part was we eradicated it as well. I know it sucks, but she will feel tons better and hopefully your hospital will be OK for parents as well. Good luck!

Our children's hospital had a bed in the room for me, and we just brought in tons of toys and movies and basically made ourselves at home. The best part was we eradicated it as well. I know it sucks, but she will feel tons better and hopefully your hospital will be OK for parents as well. Good luck!

I'm so sorry to hear about the admission. We are looking at our first next week as well, so I know how scared you must feel. Everyone who has already been there says its not nearly as bad as we can imagine, but it still stinks. I hope it goes well and Cheyenne is feeling better pronto!!

I am sorry to hear this news. The unknown is very scary & then at times the known is scary. Do your best....that is all you can do! Try to update us!
