Child Size face masks

Anyone know where to get face masks for children, for when we go to CF clinic. The clinic gives us a mask for our daughter when we go for x-ray, labs, etc. They are huge and adult-sized. Maggie is good about wearing it so I thought I'ld buy the child size if I could cause the clinic does not have child-size(too expensive)

Thanks
Rebecca(mom to sammy alomst8 no CF Maggie 3 1/2 with CF)

I've ordered the bubbles the fish mask from American Allergy. They're only a couple of buck; however, shipping might be a little cost prohibitive. I've ordered neb cups and filters for our pari and devilbiss compressors at the same time. I'm sure other companies can provide similar products, or you could either contact a medical supply company in your city or even the respiratory/pulmonology department at your clinic or hospital. I believe I got a dinosaur mask and a fish mask from the hospital when DS was first diagnosed. Liza

Whoops, never mind. I was on a nebulizer kick. Medical supply company? I'm not sure they make a smaller size -- all I've ever been able to find is adult sizes. Liza

I was thinking about nebulizers 2! Do your kids wear masks when they go to hospital then? We live in Wales and there is no such thing over here. Really interested to hear about this.

I think it depends on what clinic you go to. Some suggest wearing a mask when going to the x ray department or lab. To help prevent picking up "hospital-aquired" or CF bacteria. Most hospitals are full of antibitotic-resistant bacteria. I guess I'm sensitive to this issue because my daughter already has MRSA(pretty sure it was hospital-aquired). Also, from being an RN for years before, I know what people throw on hospital floors and it's not pretty. I hate going into the hospital because of this, for clinic or anything else.

Also forgot to add, because my daughter already has MRSA, they want her to wear a mask in public areas in the hospital to prevent gving it to someone else(especially if she is coughing or has active infection)
