choking - common in CF babies?

My daughter chokes regularly esp after taking her multi vitamins.

We have to bang her all over her back and use a nose suctioner down her throat to make her vomit w/ever is choking her. She has turned blue quite a couple of times like this.
The other day she stopped breathing completely and her heart only jump-started again after 2-3 mins.
anyone experienced such probs?

this is really scary. her pediatrician asked us to put her on oxygen if this happens....any other suggestions??
