Clinic Appointment yesterday

Maggie went for a routine clinic appointment yesterday. She was in a funny mood yesterday. Woke up at 5 am before clinic coughing.(left over from her cold). Worked out ok to get up that early though cause takes us forever to get to clinic and fit in treatments. We drove in a snowstorm too but it wasn't too bad. Maggie weighed 43.7 pounds and was 43 inches, that good. Of course, the whole time we are at clinic she doesn't cough(she usually doesn't for some reason, she'll cough all the way there in the car and all they way back but not for the doc). Course, he knows us and says she probobly won't cough here. I said I'ld bring her over at 5am if he wanted to hear it, just joking. She was cultured and put on Duricef per my request. Maggie was giggling for her exam, then refused to take deep breathes for the pulmo, he thought she was funny just waited til she stopped holding her breathe so he could listen. Maggie is such a nut. So we'll wait for the culture and hope nothing new is growing; hope her residual cough peters out on Duricef.

When I got home the dog had eaten a Sharpie permanent marker, had to clean permanent marker off my linoleum floor, BTW alchohol gets it out pretty well. THen the dog cut her paw, so there was blood on the floor. Cleaned that up too, Maggie threw up on the rug this morning(upset tummy from the antibiotic) So my house is a mess, can't get organized and still need to plan a little b-day party for Maggie. Just feeling overloaded by the little things but nothing big yet which is good<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

It sounds like you are a busy mommy right now! I hope Maggie's cough goes away before her party! Other than the cough, I'm glad she is doing well and that her appointment was a good one!

That seems like a really great weight and height! Yay Maggie! Sorry about the throwup, but I hope the Duricef kicks that last bit of coughing.
