Does anyone have any info about the current possiblecorrector being tested outside of Vertex to go along with the Kalydeco?
I think there were a few discussed at the conference and I believe that Viagra was one of the drugs that was currently being tested to work as acorrector with Kalydeco.
Is Viagra the onlyCorrector that was mentioned?
Is anyone who is on the Kalydeco as a delta 508 considering this to with their Kalydeco?

Sildenafil and vardenafil has been studied in mice with homozygous DF508 with some positive results. There are still some issues that need addressed, particularly dosing. I don't think it's been studied in humans yet.

Corrector, I used Viagra

I used Viagra to see if it would have any effect. I didn't notice any. Ok, let me rephrase that, I didn't notice an effect to the CF symptoms. The doctor that gave it to me said not to get my hopes up, because the test where they gave it to mice they gave something crazy, like 300 times the normal amount.
