coughing up blood

Thanks for all the replies. I stopped the vest and the hs last night and the bleeding stopped pretty quickly. I had had tiny streaks of blood in my sputum before, but never a lot of bright red blood and it defnitely was scary. I am going to call my doc this am...well I guess I will call - they only do clinic every other Friday and I have never been sick enough before that I couldn't wait, so I don't even know how to get ahold of the guy....well, I will figure it out.. Thanks again!
