Brian went in to have his blood draw today for his carrier test! I have to be honest, I am scared to death that it will be positive. Of course we have to jump through hoops with the military, the doc said that they won't send the sample to AMbry, they send it to Sybtek or Syntak or something like that. We are going to wait for the results and see where we stand. If it comes back positive then we don't really need to go any further, if its negative then we will fight Tricare to get the tests redone at Ambry. We'll see.

I guess I didn't realize ya'll were military... we are too! Anyway, Ben had his test done through military and they sent it to Virginia (I think) and they said its the "top of the line" test so it <u>should</u> catch 99% of known genetic markers. So, hoping that is the same one Brian got. I pray everything comes back negative. Please keep us posted... I know with military tests, it can take a LOOOOONG time to get results.... It was extremely hard for us to wait. PM me if you want/need to vent in the meantime. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thank you so much Sonia! I am really nervous, we both want kids so bad and I don't know how we would pay for IVF if it comes to that, but we'll see.

Good luck Froggy. I remember that anticipation!!! We got tricare to go through Ambry, let me talk to mark's old doc and see what he did to get tricare to pay for it......

Hmmmm... now ya'll have ME worried about Ben's results! What's this Ambry business and where are they located? How would you know if that's who was used? All I know is the base sent ours somewhere that was supposed to be really good. But, now I'm second guessing since ya'll have had to fight for the "best" place! Why Ambry? What makes them better?
