Hi,

Due to what is happening to Courtney, I have not had time to e-mail anyone.

Clive, Debbie, Julie, Mandy, Karen, Teri, Kelly, Allie, and anyone else I missed.......THANK YOU SO MUCH for the kind e-mails.

To all that posted to me, thank you very much for the kind words.

Courtney has been complaining about back pain for the past week. Last night that pain started to radiate to the belly area. I called the hospital and they want her in RIGHT AWAY. So we are headed there and are hoping that nothing serious is happening.

I will do as you all asked and just step away from the situation for awhile and see if I still want to be part of this community. I have very mixed feeling about it right now!

I will make sure and post and let everyone know how Courtney is though.

Thanks again

Seana

thinking of you and Courteney-and please let us know how she is and what's going on with her. Hope all's well- I think it's good for you to take a break and focus on what you need to deal with right now. Just don't let it be too long!

Hugs.

We are home!!!! Thank goodness!!!!

They think it is her gallbladder. We did chest x-ray, and blood work and they are suppose to call us tomorrow with an appointment for an ultrasound of the gallbladder. She is already on medication for the gallbladder, so I am hoping she does not have to have it removed. She also has a pretty bad sinus infection.

WE ARE BOTH JUST REALLY GLAD SHE DID NOT HAVE TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL!!!

If we hear anymore news I will let you all know!

That's great news! At least you're home. Hopefully things will work themselves out, and you won't have to worry about having her gallbladder removed. Keep us posted.

Hi Seana - That is wonderful that you could come home. That is the best feeling, esp. when it is not what you are thinking or are fearing. I hope she is feeling better soon ( hopefully the gallbladder was just irritated ). Best wishes!

Hi Seana!
I'm also glad to hear it wasn't so serious they had to keep Courtney in over-night.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, too.
Hopefully, if there's a worst scenario, in which they have to remove gallstones, it's an easy, and painless procedure. I've heard some sort of 'non-cutting' surgery where they would use an ultra-sound pulse to break up the gallstones, so the gallstones would pass eaiser, and naturally. So, I hope that's as far as they have to go-if they have to go that far. (Though, I'm hoping even for Courtney's age, this is possible.)
I've also had history of gallstones, but was fortunate enough not to have surgery.
So, thinking that the back and stomach would sometimes ache, is sounding familiar.
Regards,
Fred
