I am a 23 Year old male and have been on Creon 10 ever since Cotozyme went out of business about 5 years ago.

Can anyone tell me about the strength of Creon 10 and if there any stronger enzymes?

Creon comes in 3 strengths that I am aware of (maybe more, but I'm only familiar with 3)... Creon 5, Creon 10 and Creon 20. Each is twice the strength of the last so basically two 10's would equal one 20.

There are many other enzymes available and they all have different strengths. I assume you must be thinking you need more than you are getting? If so, you can play around with the dosage by taking more 10's and see if it works. Then if it does, you can ask your dr for Creon 20 to reduce the number of enzymes you have to take per meal. Just a thought.

Those numbers after "creon" indicate the number of units: 10 = 10,000 units and 20 = 20,000 units of the enzymes. There's nothing different about the creon - you just have to swallow more pills with the 10s than the 20s.
