My nine year old daughter was dx'd at the age of two with CF, DDF508...unfortunately we found out right before Thanksgiving that she also has Type 1 diabetes. This is our first round of Tobi sincer her diabetes diagnosis and her sugars have run a little high since we started them. Does anyone know if Tobi can affect blood sugar? I've looked on the TOBI site, but didn't see anything.

Tracey, Mom to Sydney 9 w/cf & type 1 diabetes; and Seth - 5 w/cf

The only things that usually make my sugar high are prednisone or if I'm getting sick. I do tobi every other month and I've never noticed it affecting my sugar.

Thanks for your input. It was a stab in the dark, but thought maybe the two were connected somehow.
Tracey, mom to Sydney 9, w/cf & type 1 diabetes, and Seth 5, w/cf - both DDF508

Certain IV antibiotics make my sugars go up even though there is no link between the two. Also, if she has any type of infection, that can cause sugars to go up too.
