Did people tell you that your belly looked tiny?

Ok so tuesday will be 33 weeks and since week 28 I can tell that my belly has been getting bigger. To the point that I can see the diff in pictures each week. Well at work when customers come in and ask when are you due and I tell them 7 1/2 weeks they all looked shocked at me like something is wrong. They all say wow you are so tiny. I saw 2 other girls on sat who came into my work, one due jan 20th and one due jan 28th and they were huge!! I looked like a tiny peon compared to them. Did anyone else have this? I have gained about 20 lbs and with cf I thought that was good but I seem to be small compared to everyone and wondered if anyone else was like that. Does this have to do with my cf any? Is it just that I am tall and I am carring him high? Just thought I would see what you all went thru <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hi Alisha,

I was pretty small when I was pregnant. At 6 months pregnant, no one could even tell (although I could) and no one believed me when I told them I was 6 months. I only really started to show a lot in the last month or so. Are you tall? I am 5'8", so I think being a little taller in the torso area really made the difference. I never really had a problem with breathing or anything either because of how much room I had when I was pregnant. Also, I also only gained around 10-12 lbs during the pregnancy. Although I did not appear all that big on the outside, my baby was 8 lbs 6 oz at birth.
