Dirty public pools...

We have a camper at the beach at a very nice, expensive camp site. It is permanant and has a deck, ect. The camp site has an underground pool with a water slide. The pool has always been fairly clean (never upto my standards, but ok) This year the water is clear, but I can see along the edges and on the steps some mold/bacterial growth. How do I handle this tactfully? I mentioned it to the pool atendant and he stated that he would take care of it, but when I went back 2 days later....same growth in the same spot...

You can get a dipstick that tests the correct chemical levels in the water. The one I got is made by AquaChem. Comes with 100 or so tests. Was under 10 dollars.

If he doesn't fix it, then contact the state. There are laws for public pool care.

i dont let my daughter swim in public pools because i dont know how well they are maintained, and i dont want to find out they are not maintained properly when it is too late. we are lucky enough to have family members who have pools and keep them well maintained for us to swim in.
