What is the best way to handwash our dishes that won't get bacteria etc for our CF'er. Could I use some bleach is the sink with soapy water and rinse after of course? I won't have the dishwasher fixed for a few days and I am not wanting my daughter to get any wierd bacteria from handwashing dishes......Strange question, I know

We've had that on two occasions and my googles showed that the water from handwashing doesn't get hot enough typically to kill bacteria....so we actually used my brother-in-laws dishwasher for stuff we'd use for our son (he still had bottles and sippy cup and stuff like that) and then we were very careful with what we used up so we didn't have a ton of dishes. Probably overkill but the inconvenience was worth not stressing over it.

I don't have access to another dishwasher right now. I have some dishes soaking in hot soapy bleach water. I guess we can you plastic/paper til it's fixed. But I want to clean all the dirty dishes int the washer or they will get stinky ugh always something.........
