disinfecting the inhaler?

I boil nebs, masks, and the holding chamber for the inhaler to disinfect them. Do any of you boil the plastic part of the inhaler? (Obviously I'd take out the canister of medicine first.) I'm afraid I'll melt it.

i was advised by our nebs distributor to wash the chambers in hot soapy (washing up liquid) water. and dry with a paper towel. takes about 5 mins to do 4 <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

we boil the hard plastic parts in distilled water for 10 minutes while soaking the mask and med cup in alcohol. Then we dry the parts well and proceed with the treatment.
