We just took Aidan, aged 4, for his first vacation to DisneyWorld. It was so awesome! I must admit that getting the wheelchair pass for his stroller was KEY. He didn't have to wait in hot, crowded lines. We just got right on the rides, all of which he loved.
It was so nice to be away from the daily grind of CF life; I pretty much forgot he had it while we were there. Of course we always did his nebs and VEST but I must admit that we didn't do the hour daily that we always do at home. He did 30-45 minutes each day so I think that is still okay?? I do feel a little guilt about that.
If he cultures PA after this trip, I'm going to blame all the stagnant water on some of the rides. Animal Kingdom had ponds and stuff all over. But it was worth the risk! Anyone else totally thrilled with their CFer and a trip to Disney??
Megan, mom to Aidan CF and Gavin, no CF
